Overview of Bharat Electricity Awards
Recognising Vision. Celebrating Progress. Inspiring Action.
The 2nd edition of the Bharat Electricity Awards, hosted by ENCIS – The Energy and Climate Initiatives Society and co-located with POWERGEN India & Indian Utility Week, will be held on 2nd September 2025 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi.
These national-level awards are a tribute to individuals, institutions, and initiatives that are leading India’s transformation across energy, infrastructure, and climate resilience. Spanning the full spectrum of the power ecosystem — from thermal, hydro, nuclear, and renewables to digital grids, clean mobility, and sustainable urban solutions — the Bharat Electricity Awards recognise contributions that are not only innovative but also impactful, inclusive, and future-ready.
As India undertakes one of the world’s most ambitious energy transitions, the Awards spotlight leadership and achievements across diverse domains — including low-carbon energy, infrastructure modernisation, water and resource management, digital innovation, and clean technology — all contributing towards a resilient and sustainable future.
From policy to execution, from legacy utilities to emerging start-ups, the Bharat Electricity Awards honour those shaping India’s journey towards its Net Zero 2070 vision and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.
